Unified Development Ordinance (UDO)

Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Update

The Town of Four Oaks is continuing work on the development of a new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), an important project that will help guide future growth and development within our community.

The Town has partnered with Kimley-Horn, the consulting firm leading the UDO update, while Anna Willis, the Town's Planning Analyst, has been working closely throughout the process to ensure the ordinance reflects the needs and vision of Four Oaks.

At the upcoming meeting on July 20th, Anna Willis will present a portion of the draft UDO that has been completed to date. This presentation will provide an overview of the progress made so far and give the Mayor, Board of Commissioners, and the public an opportunity to become familiar with the proposed regulations before the ordinance is finalized.

The Town encourages residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to stay engaged throughout this process. Additional opportunities for public review and input will be provided as work on the UDO continues.

We appreciate your interest and participation as we work together to create a modern, effective development ordinance that will serve the Town of Four Oaks for years to come.
