Limbs and Leaves

The Town of Four Oaks Public Works Team will pick up limbs and leaves on Monday's and Friday's as weather allows. Please have seperate piles for your leaves and limbs. There are two different trucks that pick these up and they cannot be mixed together. Please do not mix any household trash with these piles.

Water Customers

Johnston County West will feed chlorine for their annual disinfection from March 1 - April 14. You may experience a chlorine smell and some discoloration in your water. This is not harmful and you do not need to boil your water.

Downtown Streetscape Project

Our Streetscape Project is well underway and is currently on schedule. All of our downtown businesses will remain open during construction. We encourage everyone to continue patronizing the businesses on Main Street. Garbage and Recycle

9/11/2024

Garbage Collection is picked up by GFL on Wednesday mornings. Please place your container by the road Tuesday evening, as they begin their route very early in the morning and will NOT come back if you miss getting it out on time. Recycle is the 4th Thursday of each month. Again, please place your container out the night before! Some garbage and recycle dates may change due to a Holiday so please check the website with any questions on these dates.

Town Hall Renovations

9/11/2024

Please note that due to renovations, the front entrance of Town Hall will be closed for the month of April. You may use the drive thru window instead of coming inside. For the Planning Board meeting on April 8th and the Board of Commissioners meeting on April 21st you may use the back entrance. The back entrance will be open ONLY for the meetings.
